I am closing my blog

After almost a year and a half of blogging everything I could think of on fat loss, muscle gain, rehab, nutrition, motivation and even a few funny pictures I will be closing this blog very soon.

The cat is coming with me.

Thanks for all your support. Thoughts and comments to the comments section below.

I seriously hope this is a joke.

  4. Charlie Says:

No! Keep blog open it’s the only good fitness blog we have!

  5. Warren Says:

Thats a pity Dom, will miss the excellent reads!

  6. David Nangle Says:

This closing of this blog will be a huge loss. The articles, insights and video workouts have helped add structure and set goals for my programming. I definitely wouldnt have achieved as much as I have without it.

  7. Lucas Says:

Are you going to shut it down or just stop posting? I’ve really enjoyed reading your blog. I only discovered it a few months ago. I never really got to express how valuable I found it and to thank you but I guess I am now.
I hope you change your mind and keep it going for a while. Even if you just post a lot less.

  8. Colin Keane Says:

Very disappointed to hear you’re closing down the blog. Both you (in video) and the blog (in writing) have really motivated me to become a healthier and stronger person. You’re advice is the only sound judgement I trust on the net and when ever I come to making a decision like what food to eat or what workout to do I always think back on stuff you have said. If you are starting up another blog in the future please let us know.

    All the best.

Say it ain’t so Dominic, say it ain’t so!

To be fair you have pretty much covered every aspect of losing fat, gaining muscle, becoming stronger etc.

Thanks for all your articles and advice, this blog has been my primary resource for workouts and diet tips. Your videos have been inspriational to me. I will continue visiting the site archive whenever I want to see McShirtoff!

Im shocked, and hugely dissapointed. This website is one of the first if not the first webpage I check each morning, to read new articles and comments. Obviously it must take up a huge amount of your time and maybe you are not getting the rewards for that, but I urge you to reconsider. I echo the sentiments of most of the other guys in saying that you and this site are my primary source of education regarding fitness and wellbeing. Id be gutted if you no longer ran your blog. Again, as already mentioned, I have passed your blog onto so many friends and colleagues who feel the same about it as I do!
May I ask why? Will there be any other methods that we can tap into all the information here and new ideas from yourself?

    • Dominic Munnelly Says:

I am going to reply to everyone here –

I am working on a new site so yes i will still be blogging there – http://www.dominicmunnelly.ie/

This will offer the following –

      - a twitter account
      - facebook
      - buy my book when its up and ready

      - i am working on an ask the experts section where i will interview some of the best experts around and post up videos for that also

      etc
Its just a chance to take this to another level so expect bigger and better things!!!

  13. Tania Says:

I echo all the above comments. Although I havent been to see you in a while Dominic, I check in on the blog once or twice a week to keep motivated and educated!! All the best with your new venture but this blog will be sorely missed.

  14. Liz Says:

Panic averted ;-D. New site looks great, best wishes with it all.

  15. Anton Says:

Knew that it would be just moving house! Great blog man, I’m a qualified trainer myself but always learn something new. I read up on a few different trainers’ blogs but you have a serious knack for getting the info across in a no-nonsense way! Cheers dude.

    • Dominic Munnelly Says:

Cheers guys and yes just like my training and training my clients i am always looking to make things better and this is just the first step.
I will always keep it simple and to the point and hope that message comes across all the time
